So you have the bike, you have all the kit AND you have the motivation. But are you prepared to get a flat tire??? Punctures happen whether you ride 200 miles a week or 2! It is important for you to be self sufficient when it comes to replacing your inner tube, especially if you ride on your own.
So come along to our monthly clinic where this months topic is all about punctures, how to prevent them, and what to do if you get a puncture while your out riding. Our very own mechanics will lead the clinic with a short presentation/demonstration followed by smaller group sessions where you will get some hands on experience! You will learn all the skills necessary and find out about the equipment you need to make sure you can repair your puncture. Bring your own bicycle or wheel to get some practise on your own ride so you don’t get any nasty surprises when you do eventually get a puncture!
As ever, these clinics are free and all are welcome to attend. Light food and drink will also be served for your enjoyment. We hope to see you all there!
